A: No, while we deliver babies at this hospital, Women’s Clinic is a distinct and separate business entity/health care provider.

Q: Do you do your own labs and ultrasounds here?
A: Yes.

Q: Where are the deliveries done?
A: All deliveries are done at St. Mary’s.

Q: Where are the surgeries performed?
A: Most surgeries are performed at St. Mary’s, but the doctors have privileges at Central Missouri Medical Park (CMMP) and Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG).

Q: How long do lab results typically take?
A: Common tests (blood tests and mammograms) have a typical turnaround time of 24-48 hours. Pap smear results may take closer to 5-7 days.

Q: Can a Nurse Practitioner perform the same office and gynecological services as the doctors?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you provide after-hours care?
A: Yes, we have an answering service and one of the physicians is on call 24/7. Please call our main phone (573) 636-5248 to access after hours care.

Q: Can I videotape my ultrasound?
A: We do not allow the videotaping of ultrasounds for professional and safety purposes.
